Stick pack machines operate similarly to vertical form fill seal systems. A roll of film is cut and formed into multiple stick packs. The bags are filled and sealed vertically at speeds of up to 80 bags per minute per lane.
Stick packs are formed from a single sheet of film, cut and rolled into a tube shape before filling and sealing. This creates their characteristic elongated format.
